What is SRSI?

In a few words:

The SRSI is a non-profit organisation of Spanish Researchers in Ireland, promoted by the Spanish Ambassador to Ireland, Jose María Rodríguez Coso. SRSI is integrated by a group of Spanish Researchers from different disciplines and at different stages of their career. In this Society, researchers come from academia, industry, private or public sector. SRSI attempts to represent and support this community which pursues the following objectives:

 

1. Networking

 

SRSI facilitates networking and promotes external support to our members. It facilitates the integration of our members and by creating an enviroment to share professional and personal experiences. It encourages and helps its members to colaborate and work in common projects.

 

2. Support

 

SRSI provides support to its members to undertake scientific actitivities. It supplies resources and tools available to help their new developments.

 

3. Scientific dissemination

 

SRSI supports its members to increase their visibility and the impact of their research work. It also publicises the huge potential of Spanish Researchers in Ireland.

 

4. External Relations

 

SRSI sustains proactive communications with stakeholders and external organisations to promote Research and Development (R&D) activities between Spain and Ireland.
